F Management

“Management” is a word the simpler it sounds the messier it is and believe in the words when a Management degree holder says that. There is unsaid trend in world of Management i.e. to give jargon by tossing new words having a concept derived from real time experience. So even though I am not doing any managerial work in my present role but the 'management insect' will always be there.

So I have decided to give a word to this Management World by which my name will get eternity from the cycle of life and death. I tossed a word close to reality which is known as “F Management”. Mind it if you want you can relate “F” to Frequency (screened). So request you drain out your dirty thoughts.

The basic fundamental of this concept is that no matter how smart you are at every stage of work life you are going to be tuned by people surrounding you or by your bad luck. The better you are in F management and apply its the greater will be the pace of your success.

This whole tuning (screened) thing starts from your college campus and goes on and on till your innings get over. Like if you are 2009 MBA pass out, the first time you will get tuned by Recession. No matter which college, which stream you belong, for the recruiting companies you are like Virgin Mobile which needs tuning. There starts your first lesson of F Management. Don’t get blind folded for lucrative offers and start receiving the perks because off stream jobs will ruin and tune your career completely. However even if you lost your “V” which means value, you don’t worry we have second lesson from F management for you.

Another honeymoon period where your company will definitely try to tune your happiness is at the time of assigning a project and work location. Even if you make noise oh, ahh, no at high pitch while tuning, the tuners will just enjoy it. Since there is no option of getting the needed location and work given to you by your company, it would better if you make one of your parents suffering from eternal disease the only way out. Else get the location instead of work because you can still trust on location rather than work.

Lesson three is the core of this F management concept as this will be handy when you come to know the difference between your expectation from work and company’s expectation from you. The HRs, Training sessions, interactions with your colleagues and your BOSS will give you an idea of the strength of the company how desperate they are to tune you. The very moment you saw your team members you will get the feeling as those married teenage girls whom in-laws have not received the expected dowry and who are thrashing them on daily basis. No need to worry here come the F management which says that you refuse to join the project. It’s better to receive the bench tuning for short than accepting the rest in peace.

Lessons four, five and six are awareness ones where you will know more about tuning and getting tuned. First one out of these is “How you get tuned by team members without getting an idea about it”. The most important know bouts belong to this lesson, as these are the people with whom you spend half of your time, revealing the hidden things about you. Be cautious, highly dangerous kill on sight.

Next is “Unwanted tuning from friends”. These are the people with whom you spend the remaining hours of your day. These are the people who are similar to you and help you remind every tuning you received till this stage of life. No matter whether you want to hear or not you will receive the music. Be cautious, highly dangerous kill on sight.

Last in awareness section is “Get tuned proactively from your BOSS”. No matter how much pain you are in just asked for more and more. You will experience the pleasure at the end for sure even if the period is large. If you applied other principles of F management here your receiver will be tuned at one level for ever. Be cautious, highly dangerous but killing is not in your hand.

The final lesson of this concept is known as “Start tuning”. Develop the competencies of tuner and tune the people, company and world to your level. This is the only way to manage the “F” and living the life by choice not by luck. Be cautious any deviation in developing the competencies leads you to the end of journey before it gets started.

    but u forgot 2 add the feeling excitement & climax of entering a new job, & then finding that judgement can be misleading by only looking at face value.
