Gone are the days

Gone are the days

When we played for hours in the sun,

No sunscreen, no goggles

We embraced the nature and spun.

Gone are the evenings

When we waited for the clock to strike five,

No to go back homes

But to run away from our hives.

Gone are the mornings

Of rushing to the school,

Not with the thought of achieving targets

But how to make our friend a fool.

Gone are the days

When we enjoy what we do,

Not with the purpose to winning

But with a thought of meaning.

Gone days never come back

When you try to stick with it,

Not because they can’t

But due to lack of space for it.

Have fun, enjoy sunrises and sunsets

That will be with you as a thought of present

Days are gone for the days to come,

Days are gone for something new to happen.
